Foreign nationals who are eligible to apply for visas on-arrival, but have visited the Lebanese Republic, Japan, the Italian Republic, Hong Kong, the Republic of Singapore, Malaysia or the Kingdom of Thailand within 14 days of their arrival to Bahrain will no longer be eligible for visas on-arrival and are required to acquire a visa prior to their departure.
